How to make sandwiches with kiwi, garlic and cheese? Very simple. First, prepare the necessary ingredients. As a base for sandwiches, you can choose a baguette, regular wheat or rye bread. With a baguette, these sandwiches look more festive and beautiful. And which bread is better to use - wheat or rye, choose for yourself. I prefer it with wheat bread.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Grate the cheese on a medium grater.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Pass the garlic through a press.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

In a bowl, combine grated cheese, mayonnaise, pressed garlic and ground black pepper.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Mix everything thoroughly. If there is not enough mayonnaise in the mass, you can add more to your taste.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Peel the kiwi and cut into thin slices. It is important to choose the right kiwi: they should be ripe, but not overripe. Overripe fruits do not hold their shape well and fall apart when cut. In addition, the taste of such fruits deteriorates. Therefore, choose fruits that are dense, not soft, but not too hard - they may turn out to be unripe and too sour.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Cut the baguette into slices about 1.5 cm thick. If desired, you can dry the bread in a toaster or in a dry frying pan until golden brown.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Apply a little cheese and garlic mixture to each slice of baguette. Place a slice of kiwi on top of each sandwich.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Place the finished sandwiches on a plate and serve immediately. Bon appetit!

Previously, I couldn’t even imagine that kiwi could be used in savory dishes. And I’ve never even seen or heard of kiwi sandwiches. But these fruits appeared at home and, of course, I started looking on the website for something delicious to make from them)) I found these beautiful sandwiches. I cut the baguette into pucks and fried it a little in a dry frying pan until golden brown. The bread became crispy on top but remained soft on the inside. I didn’t add garlic to the filling, but rubbed the surface of the bread with a clove; the more the crust became crispy, it was easy to do. I didn’t have mayonnaise, and I don’t really like it, but I did have creamy curd cheese for sandwiches. I think it worked very well as a filling base. Added grated cheese and a mixture of ground peppers. It turned out unexpectedly delicious! It turns out that garlic, cheese and kiwi go well together. Kiwi adds some sourness, and garlic adds pungency and spicy aroma. Maria, thank you for the recipe, I learned a new taste for me! I recommend everyone try making these sandwiches. I’ll definitely repeat this appetizer for the New Year, it will look beautiful on the table)

I was interested in the recipe for making sandwiches with kiwi, garlic and cheese. For the base, I took a bran loaf and fried it on both sides in a dry frying pan. This is my first time trying this combination, but I will definitely make these sandwiches more than once, they turned out so juicy, piquant, with a bright, interesting taste! Thanks for the recipe, Maria!

My sister once told me about such sandwiches and said that they were very tasty, but I didn’t believe her, I just couldn’t imagine how one could be combined with the other) But how wrong I was! It's really delicious! I decided to add a little imagination and made croutons from a baguette, dried them in the oven at high temperature, so there was a crispy crust on top, and there was still soft bread inside. And yet, it is advisable to take sweet kiwi, then it goes very well with the garlic flavor.

Great! But if mayonnaise is excluded from the menu, then he can replace it with “putty” - cottage cheese yogurt 0% dill garlic? Thanks for the idea.

I don’t like mayonnaise, but I’ll try it with Greek yogurt.
