Salad with smoked cheese and tomatoes

A very quick and unusual salad with a smoky flavor. Delicious and very easy to prepare salad. The smoked taste of the cheese goes very harmoniously with tomatoes. Very filling, but due to the presence of tomatoes, it is quite fresh and bright.

  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make a salad with smoked cheese and tomatoes? Prepare your ingredients. The main and constant ingredients are tomatoes and smoked cheese. You can use processed sausage cheese, smoked braided cheese, or smoked suluguni. Additionally, you can add a little garlic and any favorite greens to the salad (for me it’s dill), and use cherry tomatoes instead of large tomatoes.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Grate the cheese on a coarse grater or cut into small cubes, at your discretion. Place the prepared smoked cheese in a deep salad bowl.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Wash the tomatoes. You can remove the skins from the tomatoes if you wish. To do this, make a cross-shaped cut from the side of the stalk, pour boiling water over the tomatoes and immediately lower them into cold water. The skin of the tomato can be removed very easily. Cut the tomatoes into cubes, after removing the seeds and excess juice so that the salad is not watery. If the tomato is fleshy and does not produce much liquid, then there is no need to remove anything. Place the chopped tomato in the salad bowl.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Sort the greens, remove any hard parts of the stems (if any). Then wash the greens under running water and dry with a paper towel. Finely chop the prepared greens (I used sprigs of young dill) and also place them in a salad bowl.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Mix the salad well with smoked cheese and tomatoes, season with mayonnaise. You can make your own mayonnaise. Below the steps you will find a link to a catalog of homemade mayonnaise recipes. There is no need to salt the salad, since cheese and mayonnaise contain salt. You can add freshly ground black pepper to the salad.

I would never have thought that a salad with smoked cheese and tomatoes would be so delicious! There are only two main ingredients, but they go together perfectly. This salad is very easy to prepare! I grated the smoked sausage cheese on a coarse grater, and cut the tomatoes into medium pieces. The main thing is that the tomatoes are dense enough and keep their shape. Dill was replaced with aromatic parsley. And I mixed mayonnaise with fresh sour cream to make the dressing more liquid. Smoked cheese and mayonnaise contain enough salt that salting is not necessary. It was very tasty for me! Indeed, smoked cheese brings out the taste of tomatoes in a new way.

Hearty, healthy salad with smoked cheese and tomatoes! Thanks to smoked cheese, an ordinary salad of fresh tomatoes turns into a self-sufficient, complete dish. I also added garlic, and it turned out to be fire! Thank you very much, this is very tasty!
