  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make bacon salad? Prepare the following ingredients. Wash and dry the vegetables. Boil the quail eggs until tender and cool. The dressing will be a mixture of butter and lemon juice, but you can use the sauce to your taste.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Fry the bacon on both sides in a frying pan over medium heat until golden brown. Then place it on a paper towel to remove excess fat. I didn't use oil to fry the bacon.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Place lettuce leaves in a deep salad bowl (I used ready-to-eat lettuce in a bag). To do this, tear the Chinese cabbage or lettuce in the bouquet with your hands or cut it into strips.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Place fried bacon on top of lettuce leaves. I didn't cut it into smaller pieces, but you can do that if you want.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Peel the boiled quail eggs, cut in half and place in a dish with salad.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Cut cherry tomatoes in half and add to salad.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Cut the cucumber into circles or semi-circles and add to the rest of the prepared ingredients. I didn't peel the skin of the cucumber. But if you are using hard-skinned greenhouse cucumbers, it is better to peel them.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Season the finished salad with sauce, add salt to taste, stir and serve immediately. Mix without pressure, preferably with two spatulas, holding them in both hands. Be careful not to mash the food so that it remains beautiful and intact. Bon appetit!

I think you could use chicken instead of fried bacon. I also recommend this salad of tomato, cheese and chicken.

This salad interested me primarily because of the presence of fried bacon and how beautiful it looks in the salad. I made the recipe for four servings. Instead of eight quail eggs (although quail eggs would look more impressive in a salad), I took four chicken eggs and chopped them coarsely. I added lettuce and a little more dill and parsley. My cucumbers were small, so I cut three into the salad. I used raw smoked bacon. The salad turned out very tasty. Bacon makes a seemingly ordinary vegetable salad unusual and festive. I used olive oil and lemon as a dressing, as recommended in the recipe. But I think mayonnaise would be great too. Even the kids liked the salad with fried bacon and tomatoes. Thank you very much for the recipe! Now I know how to surprise my guests.
