  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make a salad with sausage, cheese and cucumber? Prepare the ingredients. Boil hard-boiled eggs in advance. For the salad you need them cold, so after they are cooked, immediately plunge them into a container of ice water. This will speed up the cooling process and improve the process of peeling them.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Cut the boiled sausage into thin strips. You can use absolutely any sausage, even chicken as a more dietary product, but it is better not to take sausage with fat, the taste of the salad will be worse.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

It is better to prepare the salad in layers and serve in portioned salad bowls, this will turn out more beautifully and each guest will definitely get a salad with all the ingredients. Place a layer of boiled sausage on the bottom of the salad bowl and brush it with mayonnaise. Mayonnaise can also be replaced with some sauce or a mixture of sour cream and mayonnaise. If desired, the salad can be salted, but mayonnaise contains enough salt.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Peel the boiled eggs. Separate the whites from the yolks. Grate the whites on a coarse grater and place in a second layer in a salad bowl. Grease with a thin layer of mayonnaise.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Next comes fresh cucumber. Wash the cucumbers and cut into strips. Place the cucumbers in a salad bowl. You can add a little salt to the cucumbers, because we will not grease them with mayonnaise on top.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Grind the boiled egg yolks into fine crumbs and place on top of the cucumber in a salad bowl. Lubricate with mayonnaise. Recipes for homemade mayonnaise can be found in the link at the end of this recipe.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Grate the hard cheese on a fine grater. Generously sprinkle the salad with cheese shavings so that it completely covers the previous layer. Sprinkle chopped green onions on top of the salad. It will not only make the salad brighter and more beautiful, but will also pleasantly highlight the taste of the salad. Bon appetit!

I saw a simple salad on my favorite website and decided to make it, having all the ingredients on hand. I boiled the eggs in advance and cooled them. I cut all the food into cubes and did not grate anything. I removed the skin from the cucumber because it was bitter. Instead of green onions, I added onions, cut them into cubes and scalded them with boiling water. I also chopped some fresh parsley from myself. I wanted to make a salad with boiled sausage, cheese and cucumber not into layers, but to mix all the ingredients. Without hesitation, I did just that. I seasoned the salad with 67% fat mayonnaise and added a little pepper for a hint of spice. It turned out great. The salad is easy to prepare, filling, tasty, and not dry. Somewhat vaguely reminiscent of Olivier. A nice thing with a slice of bread) Good recipe! Thanks to the author!
