  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make cabbage salad with carrots and cucumbers? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Remove the top 2-3 leaves from the cabbage. Wash the cucumber to remove dirt. Peel the carrots and rinse.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Chop the fresh cabbage thinly with a sharp knife and crush it a little with your hands. Why flex your hands? This is necessary to make the cabbage softer and juicier in the salad.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Transfer the chopped cabbage to the bowl in which you will prepare the salad. Cut the cucumber in half lengthwise and cut it into slices. If the cucumber is large, then you can first cut it lengthwise into 4 parts. Add chopped cucumber to cabbage.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Grate the peeled carrots on a coarse grater and add to the bowl with the salad.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Season all ingredients with a small amount of vegetable oil and lemon juice.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Add salt and sugar to taste. I like this salad with a hint of sweetness. That's why I add a little more sugar than salt. You can add a little salad spice or ground pepper. Here, focus on your taste preferences.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Mix all ingredients so that the dressing is more evenly distributed among the vegetables. If desired, you can add a little chopped herbs. Transfer the finished salad to a salad bowl and serve. It will be an excellent addition to meat dishes, especially kebabs. Bon appetit!

I prepared this salad from home-grown vegetables from the garden. I finely chopped the young cabbage and mashed it a little with my hands. I cut the cucumbers thinly, but removed the skins because they were bitter. I coarsely grated a young carrot. I also added onions and parsley to the salad. I seasoned the salad with unflavored oil, lemon juice, salt and sugar. Gorgeous gas station, I want to tell you. Sugar adds sweetness, lemon juice adds sourness and it’s simply impossible to stop eating. I also tried adding vinegar instead of lemon juice, and it also turned out very tasty. By the way, the longer this salad sits and marinates, the tastier it turns out. I prepare a salad from fresh cabbage, carrots and cucumbers almost every other day. This is a very simple and quick recipe. It quenches the appetite perfectly. The vegetables are crispy, fresh and delicious in a bowl. You can eat it for an afternoon snack, for dinner, or just a snack, or add it to meat. Great recipe! I advise everyone to cook! Many thanks to the author 😊

In the summer, when there is an abundance of fresh vegetables around, I try to prepare salads every day. This salad is new to me; I have never combined vegetables this way before. My husband and I really liked this salad. Young cabbage is tender and sweet, juicy carrots and fresh cucumbers. I took half the amount of lemon juice, which was enough for us. I left the finished salad to marinate for 10 minutes. It turned out very tasty, fresh, with a citrus note. The only spice I used was black pepper. I recommend this salad for every day)
