  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to marinate mackerel quickly in brine? Products for cooking.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

First, prepare the saline solution. To do this, take a jar or a liter mug. Pour in 0.5 unboiled water (can be from the tap or filtered at room temperature). Stir 3 tbsp in it. salt, full. Check the solution for strength. To do this, take a well-washed raw chicken egg and dip it into the solution. The egg should float to the surface and protrude above the surface of the water in a round shape d1.5 cm. If the egg tilts to the side, add water until it is completely level.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

The fish must first be slightly defrosted. Not completely defrosted mackerel is cut into more beautiful, even pieces. The entrails are also easier to remove, along with the black film that gives the fish its bitterness. Cut the fish into 1.5-2 cm pieces without cutting the belly. Carefully remove all the insides and film from each piece. If you are cutting up defrosted fish, rinse each piece under running water to remove any blood.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Fill the fish with saline solution. Cover with a lid and leave at room temperature for exactly 2 hours.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

After the specified time has passed, drain the water. Peel and cut the onion into half rings.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

We take any suitable container, at the bottom of which we put a little chopped onion. Place a layer of fish on it, and again onion on top. Water with 1 tbsp. vegetable oil and 1 tbsp. vinegar. You can use less vinegar, just sprinkle it on. Add a second layer of fish, onion, oil and vinegar.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Close the lid and put it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

In an hour the fish is ready.

Another masterpiece of recipes - quick marinated mackerel in brine in 3 hours. It will not leave anyone indifferent who even a little loves fish. In fact, it cooks in less than 3 hours, and it turns out very tender and tasty. We cut the fish into large pieces (2-3 parts for each fish), cut the onion into half rings. I took water straight from the tap, dissolved about 3 tablespoons of coarse salt in it, put in the mackerel, having previously washed it and cleaned it of the insides, now leave it for a couple of hours, let it soak and soak in salt. In a separate bowl, I mixed red onion and a little regular onion, sugar, salt, vinegar, and also let it marinate while the fish was being salted. Place onions and mackerel in layers in a jar. Mackerel itself is a fatty fish, so I literally drop a teaspoon of oil, close it with a lid, and put it in the cold for half an hour. You can shake the jar several times to mix the flavors of onion, oil and fish evenly. I often cook this fish for potatoes, but this time I made it for sandwiches. Thanks for the recipe.

Quick and simple, but it seems to me that there is still not enough time for salting, I met at least a day

Thank you, MariSha, for a good recipe! We all love mackerel at home, I have already collected several recipes for its preparation. It is dangerous to buy ready-made herring in the summer, but such a quick and uncomplicated recipe for pickled mackerel will help out when you suddenly want fish! In the photo the fish looks very appetizing, I believe it turns out very tasty! I’ll definitely try to cook it, I always try to choose recipes without any special problems! But it seems to me that the mackerel won’t have time to marinate well in an hour, I would keep it longer.

Just awesome! I don’t really like store-bought fish; recently I’ve been salting and marinating it myself. I learned how to cook mackerel in a day. But this... In three hours...!!! Great! Thank you! :)

I filled it with saline solution and sat and waited))) In all the recipes I found, it took almost a day to salt it. Maybe it's marine? Or, most likely, very fat. Here you can almost eat grayling alive, just add salt. Well, having killed, what kind of animals are we))) Although there were shots of people having a snack and .... (not for the faint of heart)
