  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make kefir cookies in a hurry? Measure out the required ingredients. Kefir is suitable for any fat content. Remove it from the refrigerator in advance to allow it to come to room temperature. Use unscented vegetable oil.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Mix flour with baking powder and sift. Thanks to this, the cookies will rise well during baking and will be porous and soft.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

In a bowl, beat the egg with sugar and vanilla sugar until smooth. Add sugar to the dough to taste. With the specified amount the dough is not too sweet. If you want it sweeter, add it. But keep in mind that the cookies will still be dipped in sugar on top.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

    Pour in kefir and stir.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

    Add vegetable oil, mix well.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Gradually add the sifted flour with baking powder. Stir the dough first with a spoon, then knead with your hands. You may need more or less flour, depending on the consistency of the dough.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

The dough turns out homogeneous, tough, but soft, pliable and very pleasant to work with. You can easily form any figures from it.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Separate small pieces from the dough. Roll each piece into a thin rope.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

From flagella you can make hearts, curls, balls, “figure eights”, “snails”. You can make cookies simply in the form of gingerbread.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Dip the top of each cookie in sugar.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

Place the formed pieces on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

  12. STEP 12

    STEP 12

Bake the cookies in an oven preheated to 180 C for about 20 minutes. Set the baking time and mode based on the operating characteristics of your equipment. As soon as the cookies are browned, remove the baking sheet. Do not overcook the cookies in the oven to prevent them from becoming dry.

  13. STEP 13

    STEP 13

Let the baked goods cool and serve. Bon appetit!

This morning we whipped up some kefir cookies early in the morning. It’s good that the site makes it very convenient to translate measurements... I converted 2 cups of flour to 260 g and replaced part of it by weight with oatmeal, thus enriching the already healthy homemade cookies with valuable dietary fiber, vitamins and microelements included in the composition oatmeal. I measured out 100 g of regular oatmeal and ground it into flour in a coffee grinder. I used 1st grade wheat flour - 160 g. My youngest daughter helped sift the flour so that the flour did not fly in different directions. She placed the sieve in a cup and Victoria carefully mixed the flour with a spoon. In general, children really like the process of preparation and kneading... But this recipe is very simple and you don’t have to worry about doing something wrong... It seemed to me that a pinch of soda was not enough as a leavening agent, so I added half a teaspoon. Mix thoroughly with flour. I didn’t increase the amount of sugar (I read the comments to the recipe, they write that the cookies are not sweet), but added a handful of raisins. In my opinion, it’s better not sweet than cloying, because... the missing sweetness can always be replenished with jam or honey. I used sunflower oil - 80 ml. When kneading, the dough seemed watery and I also added about 50 g of sifted flour. Of course, you always need to focus on the consistency of the dough and you may need less or more flour. I got a viscous, but not spreading dough; I placed it on a Teflon mat using a tablespoon. I baked it in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20 minutes in convection mode. The cookies expanded well and browned. It seems to me that this is a fairly universal recipe, where you can change the proportions of different flours, and also add dried fruits, nuts, and spices if desired. It turned out very tasty with raisins! The cookies themselves are really moderately sweet, I really liked them. And of course, children love homemade cakes! Thank you!

It turned out to be a delicious, soft cookie. I’m eating, I can’t stop :) It’s quick to do, without any rolling out or kneading with your hands. The dough turned out to be such a consistency that I had to spoon it out onto a baking sheet with two spoons. I baked it at 175 degrees. This recipe is suitable for those who love light, low-fat baked goods, and it’s perfect for children. Thanks to the author for the recipe!

Hello! I was looking for a cheap recipe - THANK YOU! I’ll probably buy a special baking powder instead of baking soda.

Not disappointed, dare with a bang. It turns out very tender cookies. And if you add a little more sugar and a couple of spoons of cocoa, it will taste like the cake from your childhood. "Paul Robeson", "Smile of the Negro" or "Curly-haired Boy". Who called it what?))
