STEP 1
How to make kefir cookies in a hurry? Measure out the required ingredients. Kefir is suitable for any fat content. Remove it from the refrigerator in advance to allow it to come to room temperature. Use unscented vegetable oil.
STEP 2
Mix flour with baking powder and sift. Thanks to this, the cookies will rise well during baking and will be porous and soft.
STEP 3
In a bowl, beat the egg with sugar and vanilla sugar until smooth. Add sugar to the dough to taste. With the specified amount the dough is not too sweet. If you want it sweeter, add it. But keep in mind that the cookies will still be dipped in sugar on top.
STEP 4
Pour in kefir and stir.
STEP 5
Add vegetable oil, mix well.
STEP 6
Gradually add the sifted flour with baking powder. Stir the dough first with a spoon, then knead with your hands. You may need more or less flour, depending on the consistency of the dough.
STEP 7
The dough turns out homogeneous, tough, but soft, pliable and very pleasant to work with. You can easily form any figures from it.
STEP 8
Separate small pieces from the dough. Roll each piece into a thin rope.
STEP 9
From flagella you can make hearts, curls, balls, “figure eights”, “snails”. You can make cookies simply in the form of gingerbread.
STEP 10
Dip the top of each cookie in sugar.
STEP 11
Place the formed pieces on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
STEP 12
Bake the cookies in an oven preheated to 180 C for about 20 minutes. Set the baking time and mode based on the operating characteristics of your equipment. As soon as the cookies are browned, remove the baking sheet. Do not overcook the cookies in the oven to prevent them from becoming dry.
STEP 13
Let the baked goods cool and serve. Bon appetit!
