Quails (quails) baked in the oven
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

How to bake quails in the oven? Prepare all ingredients. Wash the potatoes under running water with a brush, peel them. Wash the quail and dry with paper towels.
STEP 2

Place salt, ground pepper and ground bay leaf into a plate. It seems to me that such a simple set of spices is self-sufficient, but if you wish, you can add or remove spices to your taste.
STEP 3

Rub the quail carcasses thoroughly with spices, outside and inside. Place in the refrigerator for a couple of hours to marinate.
STEP 4

When the quails are marinated, turn on the oven to preheat at 180 degrees (about 10-20 minutes before baking). Cut the potatoes into quarters, place in a baking dish lightly greased with vegetable oil with a high smoking point, salt and pepper to taste.
STEP 5

Place the birds on top of the potatoes; if desired, lightly grease the carcasses with mayonnaise. Place the pan in the oven for about an hour (depend on the features of your oven). During the process, you can turn the carcasses over once, and 5 minutes before the end of cooking (if in the oven), turn on the “grill” mode to form an appetizing crust))
STEP 6

Place the finished quails with potatoes on plates. Serve with fresh vegetables or any salad of your choice.
