    These are the ingredients needed for the soup.

    Cut the potatoes into cubes and cook until done. Cut the leek into rings.

    Lightly fry the leek in a frying pan with the addition of vegetable oil.

    Add the minced pork to the onion and continue frying until done.

    Grate the carrots on a coarse grater and also fry with a spoonful of oil.

    Peel and cut the pumpkin.

    Boil almost the entire pumpkin (leave a couple of slices) separately until tender and puree it together with the carrots in a blender. I cooked and pureed immediately in a Thermomix type kitchen machine. Place all the prepared ingredients in a saucepan with potatoes, bring to a boil and let simmer for a couple of minutes.

    Fry pumpkin seeds in a frying pan without oil.

    Cut the remaining pumpkin into small cubes, about 1cm, and quickly fry with the last of the oil added.

    I use pumpkin cubes and seeds as a side dish for the finished soup and, together with sour cream, add it to each plate before serving.
