Pumpkin juice with orange
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to make pumpkin juice with orange? Prepare all the ingredients for the juice. Wash and sterilize canning jars and lids for 10 minutes. Cut the pumpkin, remove seeds, cut into pieces and peel. Then cut the peeled pumpkin pieces into cubes. Wash the pumpkin and orange thoroughly first.
STEP 2
Take a large saucepan, place the diced pumpkin in it and fill it with water. Place the pan with the pumpkin over high heat, bring to a boil and then simmer over low heat until tender, this is about half an hour.
STEP 3
After half an hour, when the pumpkin becomes soft, grind it with an immersion blender directly in the water in which it was boiled until a homogeneous mass is formed.
STEP 4
Pour sugar into the pumpkin mixture and, stirring, cook over low heat for several minutes until it dissolves. Please note that you can change the density of the juice yourself by adding water.
STEP 5
Meanwhile, squeeze the juice out of the oranges and cut off a few thin peels.
STEP 6
Pour orange juice into a saucepan with pumpkin juice and add the crusts, simmer everything over low heat for another five minutes.
STEP 7
Pour the hot pumpkin juice with orange into sterile jars and immediately roll up tightly.
STEP 8
Turn sealed jars of pumpkin juice upside down, checking the tightness of the seal so that the juice does not leak out. Leave the jars to stand until they cool, then put them in a closet or pantry for long-term storage.
