    STEP 1

How to make ham and cheese puffs from puff pastry? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Puff pastry can be either yeast or yeast-free. I have yeast-free. Remove the dough from the freezer ahead of time and leave it at room temperature to warm and thaw. Choose cheese to your taste, the main thing is that it melts well. I have mozzarella. Separate the yolk from the white. You will need it to lubricate the puff pastries.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Roll out a layer of defrosted puff pastry a little on a table sprinkled with a pinch of flour. Cut the dough into 6 squares. Place a slice of ham and cheese on each square. If you roll out the dough very thin, you can get 8 squares. You can make puff pastry yourself. There is a link to homemade puff pastry recipes below the steps.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Connect the corners of each square in the center and pinch the edges to form an envelope.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Line a baking tray with baking parchment. Place the prepared puff pastries on a baking sheet, brush with egg yolk and sprinkle with a little sesame or poppy seeds. Thanks to the yolk, the puff pastries will brown appetizingly. Place the baking sheet in the oven, preheated to 190 degrees for about 20 minutes. Your baking time may be different, check your oven. Read more about ovens in the article on this topic. Link at the end of the recipe.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

The finished ham and cheese puffs will increase slightly in size and become golden brown. Some cheese may leak out. Remove the puff pastries from the oven, cool slightly and enjoy. Bon appetit!

Great baked goods for a snack and easy to prepare. Thank you very much for the recipe! The filling for such puffs can be different. I love apple puffs.

Puff pastry with ham and cheese is an excellent alternative to hot sandwiches. If you cook from store-bought dough, this significantly reduces the time you spend in the kitchen. You can prepare it for your guests, as long as you have the necessary ingredients in the refrigerator! Then after 30 minutes you can treat everyone to snack puff pastries. This is already a signature dish in my family.

I had some purchased puff pastry lying around at home and some sausage left. I decided to make some baked goods) My dough is puff pastry, yeast-free. The ham was replaced with doctor's sausage. I made it from what I already had at home, so without sesame seeds. For a golden color, brush with beaten yolk. Bake for 20 minutes in the oven at 180 degrees. The puff pastries turned out delicious, but really not square at all. However, this did not affect the taste in any way; I ate the baked goods with pleasure)
