Puff pastries with ham and cheese

Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

We will need ready-made puff pastry. You can take any, yeast or not. Although puff pastries made with yeast make them tastier. Remove the dough from the refrigerator immediately before cooking. This way it will roll out better. And yes, the dough can be store-bought or homemade.
STEP 2

Cut Suluguni or any other cheese of your choice into slices. Absolutely any cheese that is in the refrigerator will work here, even cream cheese or Druzhba cheese.
STEP 3

We also cut the ham into slices according to the size of the future pie. We need this piece to fit entirely inside the pie. You choose the cutting form to suit your taste, you can even cut it into circles)) Instead of ham, you can take boiled or any other sausage, frankfurters, small sausages (peeled and film removed).
STEP 4

Roll out the finished puff pastry into a rectangle. For me, ready-made dough is a godsend! I always have it on hand in the freezer for quick recipes. But of course, for this recipe you can prepare the dough yourself, which I also do sometimes! But the guests are already on the doorstep
STEP 5

Cut the large rectangle into small portions according to the number of portions.
STEP 6

Place cheese on one side and ham on top
STEP 7

Fold the dough rectangle in half and pinch the edges - these are the cute little pies you get!
STEP 8

We do the same with the second layer of dough!
STEP 9

Place the finished pies on a baking sheet lined with baking parchment and greased with vegetable oil. During the baking process, they increase in size - so do not pack them tightly, keep this in mind!
STEP 10

Beat the egg a little with a fork.
STEP 11

And brush the pies with beaten egg. This will give the baked goods gloss and brightness. You can, of course, do without this, but the pies will not be as beautiful.
STEP 12

Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and place in a preheated oven at 180-200 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Bake until golden brown) You don’t need to sprinkle sesame seeds, however, this is not essential. But again - it tastes better with it!
STEP 13

Puff pastry pies with ham and cheese are ready!
STEP 14

Guests have been enjoying the amazing aroma of baked goods for a long time - let’s feed them quickly!
STEP 15

And this is what they look like inside!
STEP 16

Mmmmm... Well, very tasty! By the way, in addition to ham and cheese, you can add herbs, onions, tomato pulp, and so on to the pies.
