Puff pastries under soda

STEP 1

Mix yeast in milk and honey. Add egg, butter, salt and knead the dough. Kneading by hand takes 8-10 minutes. The dough turns out soft. Cover with film and leave in a warm place for 40-60 minutes.
STEP 2

Divide the dough into 8 equal parts. Roll each piece into a flat cake with a diameter of 20 cm and a thickness of 2 mm. Place the flatbreads on a board, brushing with oil.
STEP 3

Do not coat the last workpiece. Lightly crush a stack of flatbreads and place in the refrigerator for 20 minutes. Then put it in the freezer for another 10 minutes - the oil should set and freeze.
STEP 4

After half an hour, take out the workpiece and carefully cut it into 8 pieces. The result is layered triangles.
STEP 5

CAREFULLY pour baking soda into boiling water, as a violent reaction will follow; do not inhale the fumes! When the soda dissolves, moisten each puff pastry well on all sides with a brush or pour over the pan. Moisten twice.
STEP 6

Grease a baking tray with oil and sprinkle with flour. Place puff pastries on a baking sheet. If desired, sprinkle with sesame seeds or salt to taste.
STEP 7

Bake in a preheated oven for 15-20 minutes at 200 degrees.
