STEP 1
How to make a casserole in the microwave? Prepare all the necessary ingredients for making potato casserole in the microwave.
STEP 2
Wash the potatoes thoroughly, peel and cut into thin slices. This is most conveniently done on a special grater. The circles are the same thickness and size. Add a little salt and stir the potatoes.
STEP 3
Grease a baking dish with vegetable, refined oil and sprinkle with flour or breadcrumbs. This will allow you to remove the casserole from the pan without any problems in the future.
STEP 4
Place potato slices in an even layer in the pan.
STEP 5
Break the eggs into a bowl, pour in the cream and stir until smooth. It is best to use high-fat cream, then the potatoes will turn out more tasty. But you can replace it with regular milk. If you use homemade eggs like I do, the casserole will turn out a bright yellow color. Salt, pepper and stir the egg mixture.
STEP 6
Pour the resulting egg mixture over the potatoes. Shake the mold a little so that the filling is evenly distributed.
STEP 7
Place the pan with the potatoes in the microwave and cover the top with a lid. This will keep the moisture inside so the top layer doesn't dry out. And during cooking, the milk mixture will boil and splash, and the lid will prevent the microwave from getting dirty.
STEP 8
Cook for 25 minutes at 1000 watts.
STEP 9
Grate the hard cheese on a medium grater and sprinkle over the top of the casserole. The sharper the cheese, the more interesting the taste of the casserole will be.
STEP 10
Return the casserole to the microwave and cook for another 5 minutes at full power. Remove the potato casserole from the microwave, cut and serve immediately.
