Good evening! Summer, a huge selection of vegetables and, of course, you can’t pass by green beans at the market - rich in vitamins, folic acid and fiber. Portuguese Stewed Green Beans with Vegetables has now been added to our menu. The washed beans were processed - the tails were cut off. To quickly prepare it, boil water, then place it in boiling water for 5 minutes, catch it and add cold water. Bean pods after this treatment acquire a bright green color. And there is no need to simmer for half an hour. Diced onion sautéed. Tomatoes, scalded, peeled and cut into large cubes. Warmed it up with the onions for about 10 minutes. And laid out the beans. Added seasoning and salt. Simmered for about 5 minutes. It turned out very tasty, bright! The pods retained their shape and were soaked in aromatic juice. Wonderful as a stand-alone dish, and also goes well with stewed or fried potatoes. Thanks a lot to the author!

Despite the minimal number of ingredients and ease of preparation, the dish is very tasty! I served it as a side dish along with rice, pouring the delicious tomato-vegetable juice over the rice. It also goes great as a cold appetizer. It took me less time to simmer, 15-20 minutes maximum.

And I like it tasty and healthy, juicy and appetizing looking, I can eat just beans without meat and rice, thank you, ottimista78! I once tried to grow it at my dacha, but beans grow better, beans are sold in all stores, canned and frozen, of course, but I love them in any form)) )
