  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make pork steak on the bone? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Choose a steak with a small amount of fat and a small bone. Also, choose a set of spices to suit your taste. Thyme, rosemary, oregano or basil go well with meat. I will use dried basil.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Rinse the steaks under running water and then pat dry completely with a paper towel to remove excess moisture. Place the pork on a board and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Rub them into each piece.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Lightly sprinkle the meat with lemon juice. Thanks to this, it will moisturize a little and better absorb the spices.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Sprinkle the meat with spices and dried basil. Rub everything into the meat as well. Brush the outside of the meat pieces with a little olive oil.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Cover the meat with cling film and beat it a little with a mallet to better absorb the marinade. Now leave the steak like this for 20-30 minutes. During this time, the meat will be soaked in the marinade and will be ready for frying.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

To fry, take a comfortable wide frying pan and heat it until hot. Place the prepared steaks in a dry frying pan and fry on each side for 5-6 minutes. The meat juices will immediately be sealed inside the piece.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Fry again on each side for 2-3 minutes and remove from heat. Let the meat sit for a while to rest. This will take 10 minutes.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Pork T-bone steak is ready! Serve with a side dish of baked potatoes and fresh vegetables. Bon appetit!

I love pork steak on the bone. My husband usually cooks them and I decided to try it too. I’m always afraid of undercooking meat, but here I decided to follow the recipe because time was limited and, lo and behold, everything was cooked just right! That’s why my eyes are afraid of my hands. The piece of meat came “right under the steaks” on the bone with good fat. Seasonings included salt, pepper and a mixture of Italian herbs.
