I cooked pork in sweet and sour sauce with pineapples for dinner. I had one kilogram of fresh pork goulash, so I skipped the meat cutting step. I used corn starch. I added ketchup as tomato sauce. I had soy sauce in a 30 ml bag, I added all of it. I cut the pineapple rings into quarter rings. According to the information on the can of pineapples there should have been 340 grams (I didn’t weigh it specifically). There was almost 250 ml of juice in the jar. I cooked the meat in a cast iron frying pan. After putting all the ingredients in the frying pan, I stewed the pork for about 35 minutes (the pieces of meat were cut quite large, so I decided to cook them longer). The pork came out very tender and soft. Thanks to the combination of the sweetness of pineapple, the saltiness of soy sauce and the sourness of ketchup, the overall taste was multifaceted, bright and rich. I served pork in sweet and sour sauce with pasta. Thank you very much for the recipe!
