STEP 1
How to make a pork chop in the oven with cheese? Prepare the indicated products. It is better to take pork without bones and veins, in a whole piece. The onion is average, but here too it’s not for everyone - those who like onions can take more. I use semi-hard cheese with 50% fat content; it melts perfectly in the oven, forming an appetizing crust. For juiciness, use mayonnaise. Salt and pepper to taste. Prepare dishes for use in the oven.
STEP 2
Remove the selected cheese from the packaging, cut off the shell if necessary. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater. I choose semi-hard cheese, but you can use any you like or have at home.
STEP 3
Peel the onions, wash and cut into half rings or rings.
STEP 4
It is better to use fresh pork. If the meat is frozen, then defrost it first, leaving it at room temperature. Then rinse the meat and dry it with a paper towel. Cut the pork into portions 1.5 - 2 cm thick. Beat the meat with a culinary hammer on both sides without damaging the integrity of the pieces. Place the prepared chops in an oven-safe dish, pre-greased with vegetable oil or lined with baking paper.
STEP 5
Season each piece with salt and pepper. Spread evenly with mayonnaise. Mayonnaise will give juiciness to the meat, onions and cheese will not turn out dry.
STEP 6
Place onion cut into half rings on each chop.
STEP 7
Sprinkle grated cheese evenly on top of each piece. Place the pan with pork chops in a preheated oven at 180 degrees. oven for 20 - 25 minutes or until golden brown.
STEP 8
Serve hot oven-baked pork chops with cheese. This is a universal dish; you can serve potatoes, pasta, rice, and any vegetables as a side dish. A complete delicious dinner for the whole family is ready.
