STEP 1
How to bake pollock fillet with tomatoes, cheese and sour cream in the oven? Prepare your food. You can take fillet either ready-made or cut from a whole fish yourself. Pollock is sold frozen, so first defrost it by transferring it from the freezer to the bottom shelf of the refrigerator. I already have grated cheese, you can use mayonnaise instead of sour cream.
STEP 2
Wash the tomatoes, dry and cut into thin rings. If the tomatoes are very large, then cut into halves of rings - the piece should be the size of a fillet. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater (I use already grated cheese). Cut the fillet into portions (about the size of your palm).
STEP 3
Take a suitable baking dish. Read about how to choose a baking dish in a separate article at the link at the end of the recipe. Drop a little vegetable oil on the bottom (it can be spread with one piece of fillet). Place fish pieces on the bottom. Place them very tightly - when baking, the fillets will shrink greatly. Sprinkle fish with lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper. You can also season pollock with any fish spices.
STEP 4
Brush the fillet with sour cream. Or mayonnaise. But in this case, keep in mind that the calorie content of the dish will increase. Place tomato slices on the fish pieces. Try to place them so that each circle lies on a piece, then it will be easier to separate them when serving. Sprinkle grated cheese on top.
STEP 5
Bake pollock in an oven preheated to 180°C for about 30 minutes. The exact time will depend on the features of your oven. Remove the finished dish from the oven and serve.
