Polish soup Zurek - (Żurek) with smoked meats

STEP 1

At the first stage, the broth is prepared. All ingredients for making broth are placed in a saucepan or cauldron. After bringing to a boil, the broth is boiled for about fifteen minutes. While the broth is being cooked, it is necessary to hard-boil the eggs and cut the smoked balyk and sausage into thin strips.
STEP 2

Onions and eggs need to be finely chopped.
STEP 3

Fry smoked meats with onions in a frying pan until toasted.
STEP 4

After the broth boils, the ingredients for the broth are taken out of it.
STEP 5

Add fried smoked products with onions to the broth and cook for about five minutes. At this stage, do not forget to add marjoram and salt and pepper.
STEP 6

Then add the starter to the soup, stir and leave until it boils.
STEP 7

After boiling, turn the heat down to low. Add eggs and sour cream. Sour cream should not be added to boiling broth.
STEP 8

After stirring the soup, it can be served. Traditionally, Poles serve soup in bread from which the pulp has been removed. Bon appetit!!!
