    STEP 1

How to make pilaf with pork in a slow cooker? To prepare pilaf, prepare all the necessary ingredients. Use long grain rice. You can take steamed. The advantage of this rice is that it does not boil over. Read about the intricacies of choosing rice in the article at the end of this recipe. You can take any part of pork without bones. To get the mildest taste of pilaf, use pork with the least amount of fat.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Cut the pork into small pieces of approximately the same size. If the meat was frozen, then it must first be defrosted. Preheat the multicooker bowl until hot, turning on the “Frying” mode for 30 minutes. Pour vegetable oil into the bowl. Place the chopped pork in hot oil and fry until golden brown. At the beginning of frying, juice will release from the meat, but it will evaporate very quickly and the meat will begin to brown.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

While the meat is roasting, start with the vegetables. Peel the onions and carrots and chop them. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater and chop the onion. There is no need to chop very finely. If you like the vegetables to be more palpable, then you can simply cut the carrots into cubes.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Add chopped vegetables to the bowl with the meat. Fry everything together for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally so that nothing burns. Your cooking time may vary depending on how your equipment works. Read about the operation of multicookers in the article at the end of this recipe.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Rinse the rice well several times in cool water. The water after washing should remain clear. Drain off all excess water.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Add the washed rice to the bowl. Fill everything with hot water. Why hot? This is necessary to ensure that there is no sudden temperature change in the meat. Otherwise it risks becoming rigid. And in hot water, the rice immediately begins to cook. Add salt and spices for pilaf to taste. If desired, at this stage, you can add a little garlic to the bowl. Close the multicooker lid and turn on the “Bake” mode for 20 minutes.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

After the set time, the multicooker will beep. Delicious pilaf in a slow cooker is ready! Stir the pilaf and place on plates and serve.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

    Bon appetit!

I love pilaf with both pork and chicken. Thanks for the recipe! But my favorite option remains beef pilaf.

I prepared pilaf with pork in a slow cooker. My multicooker has a “pilaf” function, I usually cook in this mode, but this time I decided to cook it on the author’s advice in the “baking” mode. It turned out even a little faster. And most importantly - it’s also very tasty! The meat turned out soft, the rice was also completely cooked, but remained crumbly. Excellent pilaf! Thanks for the recipe, Julia M!

It is very convenient to cook pilaf with pork in a slow cooker according to this recipe. It's simple and pretty fast! As recommended, I immediately set the “frying” program for 30 minutes. After a couple of minutes, I placed the pork cubes into the heated oil. I fried, stirring, for 20 minutes, then added onions and carrots. Usually I coarsely chop the carrots for pilaf, but this time I grated them on a coarse grater. Each method has its advantages. I use regular long-grain rice. But any rice needs to be washed very well. I poured hot water so that the meat did not become tough. In 20 minutes on the “baking” program, the pilaf was ready. It turned out crumbly, juicy and very tasty!

Thank you for the great recipe, my picky eaters loved it. But rice doesn’t like a lot of salt, otherwise it will be too salty, which is exactly what happened to me yesterday. And so the recipe is wonderful, easy to prepare, the pilaf turns out aromatic. I had to go outside while cooking, when I went into the vestibule, I thought someone was preparing a delicious dinner, the smell was amazing, but it turned out to be ours)))))
