Pies with sugar from yeast dough in the oven

Fluffy, aromatic, very tasty - just perfect baked goods! Sugar pies made from yeast dough in the oven turn out soft on the inside with a crispy sugar crust on the outside. They will be equally good with tea, coffee, milk or kefir. Both children and adults will love these pies.

  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to bake pies with sugar from yeast dough in the oven? Prepare all products. They should be at room temperature. Prepare the dough. Add sugar and yeast to warm water (precisely warm, not hot, otherwise the yeast in it will die). Stir and place in a warm place for 15 minutes. You will learn about the intricacies of working with yeast by reading an article on this topic. The link is at the end of this recipe. Melt the butter and cool to room temperature

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Beat eggs into a separate bowl, add milk and melted butter and stir. Then pour in the suitable dough and mix again. At this stage, you can add vanillin if desired.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Add 300 grams of pre-sifted flour in parts. Sifting will enrich the flour with oxygen, and the baked goods will turn out fluffier. Mix everything with a whisk or spoon.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Sprinkle the remaining flour onto the countertop and continue kneading with your hands. Remember that you may need a little less or more flour than indicated, focus on the consistency of the dough. Read all about the properties of flour in the article at the link at the end of the recipe.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Knead a soft dough, place it in a deep bowl, cover with a towel and place in a warm place without drafts for half an hour. Melt the butter for greasing in the microwave or in a water bath and cool to room temperature. Turn on the oven to 180 degrees in advance.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Knead the risen dough on a floured countertop and divide into eight pieces. Roll each part into a thin layer about 4 mm thick, brush with melted butter at room temperature and sprinkle with sugar on top.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Roll the dough into a tube and pinch the edge at the top, as in the photo.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Roll the tube into a ball and pinch the edges.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Make a cut with a sharp knife, but not all the way.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Straighten the edges and form a heart. In this way form all the pies with sugar. I brushed them with the remaining butter on top and sprinkled them with sugar again. If desired, you can mix sugar and cinnamon. Place the pies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. You can choose the right parchment paper by reading a separate article about the features of parchment, the link is at the end of the recipe.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

Bake in an oven preheated to 180 for 20-25 minutes. It may take a little more or less time, depending on your oven. Read about the operating features of different ovens at the end of the recipe. Bake until lightly browned. I baked for 20 minutes. Yeast pies with sugar are ready, bon appetit!

The family loves sweet pastries, giving preference to buns. I prepare the bun dough with a small amount of sugar so that the contrast between the unsweetened crumb and the sugar filling is brighter. So this time, when I started preparing pies with sugar from yeast dough in the oven, I added only three teaspoons of sugar to the dough. I also replaced butter with vegetable oil. Having divided the dough, I added one teaspoon of sugar and the same amount of vegetable oil (instead of butter) to each piece. The pies turned out sweet, tasty, and also light, one might say, weightless. They came out rosy on top and delicious - I couldn’t resist! We immediately ate a hot, fragrant bun with tea! Thank you very much!
