Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

How to pickle cherry tomatoes for the winter without sterilization? Prepare all ingredients according to the list. First, start with the tomatoes. For this recipe, use firm tomatoes without obvious defects or signs of damage. I used two types of cherry tomatoes, red and yellow.
STEP 2

To find out the exact number of tomatoes you will need for pickling, fill empty jars to the top with them.
STEP 3

Next, remove the stalks from the cherry tomatoes. Wash the tomatoes thoroughly in cold water.
STEP 4

Peel the garlic. Rinse the basil, thyme and garlic under running water.
STEP 5

Before you begin the main preparation, sterilize the jars and lids in any way convenient for you: in the oven, microwave or in a water bath. Place basil and thyme in the bottom of sterile jars. If desired, you can add small umbrellas of dill and parsley.
STEP 6

Fill the jars halfway with tomatoes.
STEP 7

Next, add the garlic to the jars (the quantity can be increased or decreased).
STEP 8

Add the remaining tomatoes to the very top. Fill the jars with boiling water, cover with lids and leave to steep for 10 minutes.
STEP 9

Next, pour the water from the jars first into a measuring cup (to find out the exact amount of liquid), and then into a clean pan. Add salt, sugar at the rate of 1 tbsp per 1 liter of water. salt and 3 tbsp. Sahara. Add the peppercorns and place the pan on the stove. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce heat to moderate. Boil the marinade for 2 minutes, pour in the vinegar and remove the pan from the stove.
STEP 10

Pour the boiling marinade over the cherry tomatoes. Close the lids of the jars using a seaming wrench. Leave the tomatoes under a warm blanket upside down until they cool completely.
STEP 11

Place the finished jars in a cool, dark place for long-term storage.
STEP 12

Cherries turn out incredibly tasty and aromatic, be sure to try them!
