This recipe interested me because I have never eaten soaked apples. There are a lot of apples this year, so I decided to try making soaked apples in jars. I immediately made two 5-liter jars. My apples are delicious green, but I don’t remember the name of the variety. I packed good apples from the tree tightly into clean jars. I made a filling of water, salt and honey. Instead of sugar, I decided to add honey) I poured the marinade at room temperature into jars of apples. Left it for 5 days at room temperature. Then she went down to the basement. Sometimes I added a little water. A month later I decided to try and see what happened. The soaked apples came out crispy and aromatic. Apples smell like sauerkraut). The taste of soaked apples is very interesting, I don’t even know how to describe it. They are sweetish, spicy, and sour. In a word - delicious!!! I recommend everyone to make this preparation. Very easy and quick, soaked apples are stored in jars perfectly! Wonderful recipe! Thanks to the author!
