Penne Arabiata pasta

Original, piquant, hot and spicy, for dinner! Penne Arabiata pasta is an Italian dish. Arabyata means "furious". The paste got its name precisely because of the hot sauce, to which a large amount of chili pepper was added. Traditionally, it is made from penne pasta.

  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make penne arabiata pasta? Prepare your food. I used chili pepper as a seasoning. The pasta sauce cooks very quickly, so immediately before starting cooking, put a pan of water on the fire. There should be a lot of water, based on every 100 grams of pasta - 1 liter of water.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Peel the garlic and cut into thin slices. If you are using chili peppers in pods, cut them into rings. Whether to leave the seeds or not is a matter of taste; it will be much spicier with them.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Heat olive oil in a frying pan, add garlic and pepper. Fry them over low heat, stirring, for several minutes. The garlic should turn golden.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Add tomatoes to the pan. I use crushed tomato pulp. You can also use fresh tomatoes, after peeling them and finely chopping them. Add salt to taste. Stir and leave the sauce to simmer over low heat for 5-10 minutes until thickened.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Meanwhile the water will boil. Add salt and add pasta. Cook them according to the instructions on the package. It is better to reduce the cooking time by a minute so that the pasta remains a little firm, as the Italians say, al dente - to the tooth.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Place the finished pasta in a colander and then immediately add it to the sauce in the pan. Stir and keep on fire for a couple of minutes. Then serve the pasta to the table, placing it on plates and sprinkling with grated cheese. Bon appetit!

It's bellissimo! Our youngest son, on the eve of his 30th birthday, decided to stop by for pickles, jams, and compotes for the holiday table. We have a call: “Mom, I’m on my way” means thirty minutes of readiness. And since our youngest is a fan of any pasta, I had no choice. But there were tomatoes in their own juice and all the other ingredients. I set the penne to cook, fried the garlic, added mashed tomatoes, and did everything according to the recipe. Only the chili pepper was given to the men separately, which is too much for me. It turned out to be an amazingly delicious dish: Pasta Penne Arabiata! With baked chicken and vegetable salad - delicious! The aroma of garlic, the stretchy melted cheese, it’s simply divine! The child was delighted. Many thanks to the author, everyone was full and happy.
