Oven baked chicken in honey mustard sauce
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

How to bake chicken in the oven in a honey-mustard marinade? To do this, prepare the necessary ingredients. For baking, you can take a whole chicken and chop it into pieces, or you can, like me, use individual parts of it, for example, drumsticks.
STEP 2

To prepare the marinade, combine mustard and honey. If the honey is thick and candied, you can warm it up a little in the microwave.
STEP 3

For convenience, pour the mustard and honey mixture into a large bowl. Add some vegetable oil. Add salt and spices to taste. Mix the marinade and roll all the chicken legs in it so that they are evenly covered.
STEP 4

Any heat-resistant form is suitable for baking. It can be metal, ceramic or glass. I will cook in a ceramic form. Grease the baking form with oil and place the prepared chicken in it. If there is any marinade left, spread it over the chicken. Place a sprig of rosemary on top. If you don't have fresh, you can sprinkle dried. Cover the pan with foil and place in the oven, preheated to 190 degrees for 45-50 minutes.
STEP 5

About 20 minutes before the end of cooking, remove the sheet of foil to allow the chicken to brown a little. Be guided by your oven. Remove the finished chicken from the oven and serve. This can be done directly in the mold or you can place the chicken on plates.
STEP 6

Baked chicken in honey mustard marinade is ready! It smells so magical! You can complement it with baked potatoes, fresh vegetables and herbs. Bon appetit!
