STEP 1
How to make oatmeal in the microwave with milk? Prepare the ingredients according to the list. It should be taken into account that the type of oatmeal affects the cooking time of the porridge. It is enough to cook instant oatmeal for 1-2 minutes, depending on the volume of ingredients, but since it is already thermally prepared for cooking porridge, it contains few useful substances. Hercules takes the longest to cook, but is considered the healthiest product.
STEP 2
Pour oatmeal into a fireproof form, it is advisable to rinse the cereal, even if it is instant oatmeal, dust and flour will still be noticeable in the cereal when washed, and it is better to remove them. Add sugar and salt to taste. If desired, you can add washed and finely chopped dried fruits and nuts.
STEP 3
Pour milk over oatmeal. If desired, if milk with a high percentage of fat content is rustic, it can be diluted with clean filtered water. But, of course, porridge prepared with only full-fat milk will turn out much tastier and healthier. Milk must be added to the cereal in a ratio of 1 to 2. But if cereals such as Hercules or Extra-1 are used during cooking, then, accordingly, the cooking time will be longer than instant oatmeal.
STEP 4
Consequently, more liquid will be needed to obtain a viscous porridge, then it is better to maintain a proportion of 1 to 3. The longer the porridge is cooked, the thicker it will be. Place the bowl of cereal in the microwave. Microwave at 600 watts for 2 minutes. At this time, you can safely do other things; milk in the microwave will not run away at such power.
STEP 5
Take out the bowl of porridge, stir it with a spoon and, if necessary, put it in the microwave for a couple of minutes. You can add liquid if the porridge seems thick.
STEP 6
Take out the finished porridge, add a piece of butter and serve, optionally with fresh or frozen berries, jam or other additives. Bon appetit!
