Oatmeal cookies in a slow cooker

Crispy, crumbly, favorite since childhood - oatmeal cookies! There are situations when you are expecting guests, but there is nothing for tea, and the oven is busy. In this situation, a multicooker will come to the rescue. I want to share with you a recipe for quick oatmeal cookies in a slow cooker. While the meat was baking in the oven and the salad was being cut, the cookies had time to bake. Cookies with a rich oat flavor will appeal to both adults and children. By the way, it is so easy to prepare that you can involve the children in kneading the dough. More fun together!

  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

Required ingredients. You can make filled cookies by adding raisins, chocolate chips, or vanilla.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

The dough kneads quickly. Therefore, the first thing we do is turn on the multicooker to maximum temperature.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Let's do the test. Mix flour, cereal, soda, citric acid and sugar in a bowl.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

    Lightly beat the egg

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

And pour it into the dry mixture

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Add a tablespoon of honey there

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

    And softened margarine.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Knead the dough with your hands. The dough should be soft and sticky. If it turns out a little liquid, add flour; if, on the contrary, it is too stiff, add a little vegetable oil. At this stage you can add the filling.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Separate the dough into pieces slightly smaller than a walnut. However, whatever size you like :)

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Place in a slow cooker, flattening slightly. There is no need to lubricate the multicooker bowl. Close the lid and leave to bake for about 6-7 minutes. Here, look at the power of the multicooker and focus on the desired color of the cookies. You can brown it more.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

We open the lid, our cookies have swollen and become porous.

  12. STEP 12

    STEP 12

Turn the cookies over. Close the lid and bake for another 5 minutes.

  13. STEP 13

    STEP 13

The finished cookies are soft at first, don’t be alarmed, that’s how it should be. As it cools, it will dry out and become crispy and crumbly.

  14. STEP 14

    STEP 14

Serve the cooled cookies to the table. Enjoy your tea.

The recipe is really very quick to prepare, I would also add walnuts and poppy seeds. Margarine, by the way, can be heated in the microwave, and the flakes can be ground in a blender; for those who care about their figure, add 100g of sugar. Homemade oatmeal cookies are much tastier than store-bought ones.

Yes, nuts will come in very handy here. The cookies themselves have a slight nutty taste. Here I wanted to show a classic recipe, but I usually add sesame seeds, chopped nuts and raisins. This time I added heat-stable chocolate drops to the last portion (for my son). I also want to try cooking it with zest, it should be interesting

Today I baked cookies according to your recipe. True, I had oatmeal with the addition of raspberries and I also added raisins without chopping them and sesame seeds. It turned out very tasty... And my son is delighted with these cookies
