  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make non-alcoholic mulled wine with juice? Prepare the necessary ingredients. For the base, you can use grape juice and cherry syrup, or vice versa - cherry juice and grape syrup. It is not necessary to add honey to mulled wine, especially if the juice and syrup are already sweet. You can add more or less spices to suit your taste. If you take grape juice, you can use any syrup, not just cherry. And vice versa.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Wash all fruits thoroughly. Without peeling, cut the apple, orange, lime and lemon halves into slices.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Place the prepared fruits in a saucepan, add cinnamon sticks, star anise and clove buds. You can add more spices whose taste you like best. For example, more cinnamon sticks or star anise. It's the same with fruits. If you don't like the bitterness of lime, you can omit it altogether. Here everything can be adjusted to your liking.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Pour grape juice and cherry syrup into the fruit.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Place the saucepan over low heat, bring the contents of the saucepan to a boil and cook the mulled wine at low simmer for 1-2 minutes.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Taste the mulled wine and add honey if necessary.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

You can immediately pour the finished mulled wine with fruit into a jug or into glasses. I first removed all the fruits and spices and strained the drink through a sieve.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Pour the hot drink into special glasses for mulled wine with handles. To make your glasses look elegant while the mulled wine is brewing, you can dip their rims into syrup, and then into a bowl of sugar.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

If desired, add fruit from the saucepan to the glasses and serve the mulled wine to the table. Bon appetit!

Last year at the Christmas market in Annenkirch I tried a hot drink based on grape juice, very tasty, only they called it glög. Unfortunately, there won’t be a fair this year, but we’ll try to make the drink ourselves, thanks for the recipe
