New potatoes with garlic in the oven

STEP 1

How to bake new potatoes with garlic in the oven? Prepare your food. You can take potatoes of any size, the main thing is that they are young, with thin skin. Use the amount of garlic, herbs and spices to suit your taste. I have dill and black pepper. You don’t have to use butter - then the dish will turn out lean.
STEP 2

Rinse the potatoes thoroughly under running water with a brush - this is important to do, since they are baked unpeeled. Then dry the tubers with paper towels.
STEP 3

Wash and dry the greens. Tear off the thick branches and finely chop the greens themselves.
STEP 4

Place the potatoes in a deep bowl. Leave the small ones whole, cut the large ones into slices - in half or into quarters. Add chopped greens to the bowl. Peel the garlic and squeeze it into the potatoes through a press. Pour vegetable oil into a bowl. Melt the butter first and add it to the potatoes. Salt and season with spices. Mix the potatoes well so that the oil and herbs with spices are evenly distributed over them.
STEP 5

Take a suitable baking dish or baking tray. Cover it with parchment - then the potatoes will not stick and the mold will be easier to clean. Place the potatoes on the paper in one layer. Pour the remaining oil on top.
STEP 6

Bake the potatoes in the oven, preheated to 200°C, for 40-45 minutes. The exact time will depend on your oven and the size of the tubers. Check readiness with a knife - it will easily pierce the potato.
STEP 7

Serve the baked potatoes with their skins hot to the table. Bon appetit!
