I’ve been wanting to make savory muffins for a long time, and I came across a recipe for muffins with cheese, I made them today. I mixed the egg, kefir, grated the cheese on a coarse grater, added salt, flour, baking powder, and a little fresh frozen dill. I don’t defrost the dill, otherwise it will turn into porridge, I put it directly frozen, it crumbles very easily and remains as fresh in the finished dish, the taste and aroma are preserved, it turns out as if with fresh herbs. The finished dough turned out thick, I put it in disposable paper baking pans and put it in a hot oven. After half an hour, the muffins with cheese were ready, although they had not risen much in volume, but this was most likely my fault, I couldn’t resist twice and looked into the oven)). I think if you don’t open the oven while baking, the products should rise like a cap and expand. In cross-section, the muffins resembled bread; they were baked, easy to cut, and tasted like a cheese bun. In my opinion, such muffins are suitable for any snack at home, at work or on the road; I brewed delicious coffee with milk to go with this muffin. Thanks for the recipe.
