Minced meat with Bechamel sauce
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to make minced meat with Bechamel sauce? Prepare all the necessary ingredients for our wonderful dish. I will cook pasta for the sauce with minced meat. If you decide to do the same, then put a pan of water on the stove for the pasta, and a couple more frying pans. We will cook the minced meat on one, and the sauce on the second. Ready? Begin!
STEP 2
While the frying pan is heating up, peel the onion and garlic and chop finely with a knife. Garlic can be passed through a press. Fry them in vegetable oil. If you wish, you can safely add more garlic, it will add flavor, but you won’t feel any spiciness at all.
STEP 3
Add minced meat to the fried onions and garlic. I took frozen minced meat and did not defrost it. It defrosted perfectly right in the pan. In general, if your minced meat is also frozen, then you can safely do the same as me. This will save a lot of time.
STEP 4
Fry until done over medium heat without a lid for about 10-15 minutes. Don't forget to stir periodically. Be sure to add salt and pepper. You can add your favorite spices. I have minced marbled beef, it is quite fatty, so I did not add any additional oil. But if you are preparing a dish from minced chicken or turkey, you can add a little butter.
STEP 5
At the same time, melt the butter in a second frying pan.
STEP 6
Add flour to it and mix well, it is convenient to do this with a silicone spatula. You will get such a thick paste. Fry it, stirring constantly, for about five minutes, no more.
STEP 7
Now pour cream (or milk) into the pasta. I do this in several stages, which I recommend to you. Pour in a little cream, stir, add more, and stir again. It is important to stir so that there are no lumps left. Well, if there is a little left, don’t worry - it can be fixed.
STEP 8
Now let's boil our sauce. Since pasta is already being cooked on the stove nearby, our sauce will not be too thick. But if you want to use it, for example, to fill pancakes, then it is better to boil it more. In general, be guided by your taste. And by the way, don’t forget to add salt and pepper to the sauce. You can add a little paprika and nutmeg.
STEP 9
When the sauce is ready, mix it with the minced meat. If there are any lumps in the sauce, first rub it through a sieve.
STEP 10
Now our dish is ready, the pasta is also already cooked and even lightly fried. When serving, you can sprinkle with chopped herbs. Welcome to the table! Bon appetit!
