STEP 1

How to make minced meat cutlets with potatoes in the oven, baked with cheese? Prepare the necessary products. I made minced chicken fillet. You can take ready-made minced meat or fish. Olive oil can be replaced with any odorless vegetable oil.
STEP 2

To prepare cutlets, pour 3-4 tbsp into the crumb of a loaf or white bread. milk.
STEP 3

Wash the chicken fillet and dry it. Cut the fillet into small pieces of any shape. Grind the fillet in a blender until smooth minced meat.
STEP 4

Roughly chop the pre-peeled onions and pass them through a blender. In a suitable sized bowl, combine the minced meat, chopped onion and soaked bread. Salt the minced meat and add ground black pepper.

Mix everything thoroughly.

With wet hands, form the minced meat into patties of the desired shape and size.
STEP 7

Cut the washed and peeled potatoes into slices approximately 4 mm thick. There is no need to cut the potatoes too thin to prevent them from drying out during cooking. It is advisable to choose root vegetables of medium and, if possible, the same size, then the appearance of the dish will be more neat. Salt the potatoes and pour olive oil. Leave a little oil to grease the pan. If desired, add any spices and seasonings to taste. Mix everything.
STEP 8

Grease a baking dish with olive oil. Place 2/3 of the potatoes on the bottom and sides of the pan.
STEP 9

Place the cutlets on top of the potatoes, leaving small spaces between them.
STEP 10

Distribute the remaining potato slices between the cutlets, placing them on their edges. Top the potato slices and cutlets with the remaining milk. Place the pan in an oven preheated to 180C for about 25-30 minutes. If the edges of the potatoes are browning prematurely, cover the pan with foil.
STEP 11

Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
STEP 12

Carefully, so as not to burn yourself, remove the pan from the oven. Sprinkle potatoes and cutlets with grated cheese.
STEP 13

Bake the dish for about 10 minutes until the cheese has melted. Determine the baking time and mode based on the operating characteristics of your oven.
STEP 14

Serve the cutlets baked with potatoes and cheese hot with fresh vegetables and herbs. Bon appetit!
