To prepare this dish you will need a large composition of ingredients, the main ones are potatoes, meat, eggplants, onions, additionally take flavoring ingredients - soy sauce, mustard, ground black pepper, herbs if desired, salt, and binders - sour cream and cheese. That's all!

    First, take care of the meat: cut it into pieces and marinate in a mixture of soy sauce, mustard, ground black pepper, sunflower oil and any dry spices. Leave to marinate while you prepare the rest of the ingredients.

    Eggplant can be cut into slices and placed raw in a dish. But in order for the eggplants to become “mushrooms” (my husband doesn’t like eggplants), I do a deceptive maneuver: I cut them into small cubes and fry them in a frying pan with butter.

    Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add the eggplants, stirring occasionally to ensure even frying.

    The eggplants will shrink significantly in size and taste very similar to regular fried mushrooms. These are the ones we will add to the dish, and this will make the taste of the whole dish more perfect.

    I cut the potatoes into cubes and boil them in the microwave - this will significantly reduce the baking time of the entire dish, and the potatoes will become reliably soft.

    Now you need to take a baking dish, grease it with oil and lay out a layer of coarsely chopped onions. Place the marinated meat tightly on it.

    Grate any hard cheese on a coarse grater, I used Russian cheese.

Our eggplants turned out well, I was looking for an interesting recipe with eggplants on my favorite website and found it) I prepared meat with eggplants and potatoes according to this recipe for dinner. First I marinated the meat in seasonings. I fried the eggplants. Peeled and cut the potatoes and onions. I placed everything on a baking sheet (there was no mold), spread 15% sour cream on top and sprinkled with cheese. I chose Gouda cheese, it melts well and is very tasty. I cooked the dish for almost an hour in the oven. The aroma was amazing. This is definitely a hearty rustic dish) It turned out very aromatic, high in calories and tasty. The fried eggplant in this dish definitely resembled mushrooms and we loved it. Amazing taste. The meat was tender and the vegetables were well cooked. Great dish! Thanks to the author!
