Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

How to make a marinade from mustard, soy sauce and honey? Prepare all the ingredients and equipment needed to prepare the marinade. Take a small but deep container to make it convenient to mix all the ingredients of the marinade. First pour soy sauce into this container. Choose a sauce with a minimum amount of ingredients - it is more natural and tasty.
STEP 2

Now carefully add the honey to the soy sauce. It would be better to use honey with a liquid consistency, since it will be more convenient to knead without heating it. If you only have thick honey, then heat it by melting it in a water bath at a temperature no higher than 40ºС.
STEP 3

Also add mustard to the marinade. The type of mustard you choose affects the taste of the finished dish. So, using, for example, Bavarian mustard, the finished dish will turn out with certain notes of sweetness. By adding Russian mustard to the marinade (that’s what I used), the dish will be spicier. Using Dijon mustard, in addition to the characteristic taste of this mustard, the finished dish will be decorated with grains.
STEP 4

Using a press, press the garlic clove directly into the bowl with the rest of the ingredients. Add a little salt, but just a little, since soy sauce already contains enough of it.
STEP 5

Once all the ingredients of the marinade are in one container, mix them for a few minutes, bringing the ingredients to a homogeneous state. The marinade is ready.
