I wanted to bake buns from yeast dough - without filling, instead of a loaf for sandwiches with butter, cheese or sausage. The recipe for lean yeast buns was just right. The ingredients needed were flour, water, yeast, butter, salt and sugar. And the preparation turned out to be very simple. I added sugar and dry yeast to warm water. I took a little sugar - 3 teaspoons. Place the mixture in a warm place for 10 minutes. After that, I kneaded the dough, which turned out to be very soft, slightly sticky. I let it sit for 1.5 hours. Divide the risen dough into 8 parts, roll into small bun balls, place them on a baking sheet and let stand for 15 minutes. During this time, the buns increased slightly in size. Before putting them in the oven for 30 minutes, I brushed them with sweet water. The buns turned out wonderful! Ruddy, well baked, with a spongy crumb. My husband and I ate a bun each when they had cooled down a bit, spread them with butter, and washed them down with tea. Delicious! And on a budget! Thank you very much for the recipe!
