STEP 1

How to bake lean yeast buns in the oven? Prepare all the necessary ingredients according to the list. Heat the water to 36 degrees, the temperature can be checked with the tip of a clean finger, it should be comfortable. Pour the water into a deep bowl, add sugar and dry yeast. STEP 2

Then add vegetable oil, salt and sifted wheat flour to the bowl. Flour must be added in parts, stirring the dough each time. You may need a little less or more flour, depending on the consistency of the dough. Read more about the properties of flour in the article at the end of the recipe.
STEP 3

The dough should come together into a lump and be slightly sticky, but not sticky to your palms when kneading.
STEP 4

Cover the bowl of dough with cling film and place in a warm, draft-free place for about an hour and a half. The dough rises well in the oven at a temperature of 36-40 degrees. Punch down the dough and move on to forming the buns.
STEP 5

On a floured work surface, divide the dough into several small pieces, the size depends on the size of the buns you want to bake. Keep in mind that they will expand significantly after baking.
STEP 6

Place the buns on a greased baking sheet or baking dish. Cover the pieces with a towel and leave the buns to rise for 15 minutes in a warm place, grease them with vegetable oil on top and place them in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 30 minutes. STEP 7

Remove the finished browned lean oven-baked yeast buns from the oven. Let the buns cool slightly, sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired and serve. Enjoy your tea!
