STEP 1

Prepare everything you need to prepare the roll, peel the walnuts.
STEP 2

Prepare the filling for lavash: combine the cheese mixture with sour cream and stir until smooth; for this recipe it is better to use full-fat sour cream. Grate the apples on a coarse grater, add cinnamon and sugar and mix everything thoroughly. Place the walnuts in a bag and chop with a rolling pin, but not very finely.
STEP 3

We begin to assemble the roll. Lay out the lavash on the kitchen table and apply the curd mass with sour cream as the first layer. Distribute evenly over the entire pita bread, leaving a strip of pita bread 8-10 cm wide unfilled with filling. The second layer is apple - the grated apple mass is evenly placed on top of the curd layer. Place chopped walnuts in a third layer.
STEP 4

Roll the pita bread with filling into a roll and transfer it to a baking sheet previously covered with baking paper. Beat the egg with a fork and grease a strip of pita bread without filling with the beaten egg, and secure the roll on top. Brush the entire surface of the roll with the rest of the egg and place it in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 30 minutes. Let the baked roll cool, cut into portions and serve.
