  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to fry frozen cutlets in a frying pan? Very simple! Prepare everything you need. Cutlets can be homemade or industrially produced - the choice is up to you.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

If there is a decent layer of frost on the cutlets, it must be carefully removed so as not to damage the breading, if any. This step applies more to store-bought cutlets than to homemade ones. There is no need to remove this completely inconspicuous layer of frost.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Take a non-stick frying pan with medium-high sides. Place it on high heat and heat it thoroughly for a couple of minutes until it is dry. You will learn how to choose a frying pan and oil for frying by reading articles on these topics. There are links to them at the end of this recipe.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Pour odorless sunflower oil into a hot frying pan and heat it for 20 seconds. Reduce heat to medium. During the frying process, you can add oil as needed.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Place the frozen semi-finished products in the pan and immediately cover it with a lid! The moisture will begin to evaporate instantly when it hits the hot oil. There will be splashes - that's 100%. Take care of your hands. Over medium heat, cook the cutlets with the lid closed for about a minute. And then (and this is my main trick) just move the cutlets with a spatula from place to place, without turning them over, but simply restoring their free sliding. This will increase the chances of the cutlets not burning.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Then turn the cutlets over. You can add more sunflower oil. Cover with a lid and leave for another minute. Then again our trick is to move the cutlets with a spatula and cover again. After this action, the cutlets can be turned over every two minutes until cooked. The fire is also medium.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

When the cutlets are already well browned, the lid can be removed. Gradually the cutlets will be completely cooked inside. In total, I fried mine for 15 minutes, turning over definitely more than 4 times, but it will be different for everyone. Serve the fried frozen cutlets with any side dish and vegetables or salad. Any sauce will complement them perfectly. Bon appetit!

For a quick dinner, I wanted to fry frozen cutlets, which I usually defrosted before frying, and I used this recipe “how to fry frozen cutlets.” Very good description and practical advice. I have homemade cutlets, I prepared them and froze them. I put the cutlets straight from the freezer in a frying pan with oil, without defrosting. I fried it exactly according to the recipe, following all the author’s advice, until golden brown. The cutlets did not fall apart during frying and did not stick. Cooked for about 12 minutes on low heat. The frozen cutlets turned out to be fried, juicy, and with a crispy crust. Thank you very much for the good idea! This is the only way I will cook from now on! I recommend it to everyone!

And why did I always defrost cutlets before frying them?! Today I saw your tips on how to fry frozen cutlets and decided to try it right away. I took the cutlets out of the freezer, I had chicken cutlets with cheese inside and breaded. The frost on the cutlets is almost invisible; there was no need to remove it. I took my favorite old cast iron frying pan, heated it up well, added oil and reduced the heat to medium. I laid out the cutlets and covered them with a lid right away, you could hear them shooting inside. Your trick of moving the cutlets with a spatula helped a lot. Now I will always do this and they really don’t burn. My cutlets are shaped like sticks, so I fried them on four sides, spending a total of 10 minutes on this. The cutlets turned out to be very juicy, with a crispy crust! And even the cheese did not leak out, as it usually happened with me, but remained all inside. Thanks for your tips and tricks! I took note!
