    STEP 1

How to make honey mustard sauce? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Take liquid honey. If you have it candied, then you should first melt it in a water bath. I use regular flower honey. With chestnut or buckwheat, the taste of the sauce will be more tart. You can use any mustard for the sauce. I used Russian. The type of mustard affects the taste of the sauce. With Russian mustard it turns out slightly spicy, but with French mustard, on the contrary, it turns out even sweeter.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

In a bowl or bowl, combine honey, olive oil, mustard, lemon juice and beat everything until smooth using a mixer or whisk. First, it is better to simply mix the ingredients so that the olive oil combines with honey and lemon juice and only then start whisking fully. If you start whisking immediately without mixing first, the light olive oil may splash out of the bowl.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Add salt and pepper to taste to the sauce and whisk again until the salt crystals dissolve.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Pour the finished sauce into a special gravy boat with a spout.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Honey mustard sauce should be stored in a sealed jar in the refrigerator for no more than a week. Bon appetit!

My husband has been asking me to make honey mustard sauce for a long time; he likes the taste. I somehow never found such a recipe before. And then I found it) I like that this sauce is natural, made from home-proven products. I made the mustard myself, it is quite spicy. My honey was a little candied, I melted it in the microwave. I beat the sauce with an immersion blender, the result was a thick mixture with air bubbles on the surface. The taste of the sauce is sweet and spicy, honey is clearly felt. At first the oil did not want to combine with the rest of the products, but after a couple of minutes the mixture became homogeneous. My husband liked the sauce and praised it) Thanks for the recipe!

I made honey mustard sauce according to this recipe. Beat all ingredients with an immersion blender. First at low speed. After 2 minutes, the speed was increased to maximum (by 12). And beat for another three minutes. I poured the finished sauce into a jar, closed it tightly with a lid and put it in the refrigerator. Honey-mustard sauce is thick in consistency, with an appetizing golden color. The taste is sour-sweet and at the same time piquant-spicy. I believe that this sauce is suitable for dishes made from meat, fish and vegetables. It can also be used as a marinade before frying.

Thanks for the recipe, it was very useful)) Cooking time: 7 minutes. I used balsamic vinegar, so I think it didn’t turn out a whitish tint)
