For several days now, children have been asking us to cook them chips. And then on my favorite website I saw a recipe for homemade potato chips in a frying pan. I prepared it. I took two large potatoes, peeled them and cut them into thin slices using the side slits on a four-sided grater. Then I washed the potato pieces in water and dried them with paper towels. I coated each slice with a mixture of salt and spices. I used black pepper, curry and nutmeg and fried it in a pan. This process must be carefully monitored so that the chips do not burn, as they cook quickly. I placed the finished chips on a paper napkin. The results were delicious, golden-brown, crispy chips. If you love potato chips, but don’t want to buy them in the store, but are ready to make them at home, then this recipe is 100% suitable. I won’t say that they are healthier, however, but who said that we only love healthy things? I recommend not skipping step No. 8, where the author advises removing excess oil from the chips using a napkin, or better yet, a paper towel. I cut the potatoes thinly, so my chips weren’t as even and neat.
