Maria Kruus, I also prepared a similar salad several times, only I also had fresh pepper instead of cucumber, and everything else was the same. When I prepared it, I was very doubtful about sour cream, but it turned out that I was worried in vain, sour cream comes in very handy here, the taste very pleasant and tender, cook it, friends, and don’t be afraid of anything, the salad is excellent!

No, Shura, there cannot be pepper in this type of salad. It is traditional for the Baltic regions; paprika, you understand, did not grow here!
