STEP 1
Let's take ingredients for cooking chicken hearts in sour cream and onions. Chicken hearts are a very tasty offal. But one of the secrets of preparing delicious dishes from this product is choosing them correctly. The color of the hearts should be dark red, blue or brown indicates that the product is not fresh. It is better to buy a chilled product; it contains more useful substances than frozen. We wash the chicken hearts, trim off excess fat and membranes.
STEP 2
Cut the chicken hearts into small pieces. We wash the offal again to remove blood clots and remaining film and fat. We clean the onions and finely chop them with a knife.
STEP 3
Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan and heat it. Place cooked onions in vegetable oil. Fry it, stirring with a spatula, until the onion becomes transparent.
STEP 4
Then add the chicken hearts to the frying pan with the onions. Stir and simmer them under a closed lid over low heat for about 20 minutes. Then remove the lid and mix the hearts with onions.
STEP 5
Add sour cream, ground black pepper and salt to the pan. If the sour cream is too thick, you can pour a little water into the pan. Mix. Cover again and simmer over medium heat for about 10 minutes. The dish is ready. We serve chicken hearts to the table as an independent dish or with any side dish to taste and desire.
STEP 6
Chicken hearts stewed in sour cream go well with rice, buckwheat, mashed potatoes, pasta and stewed vegetables. The result is not only tasty, but also a very healthy dish. Chicken hearts normalize blood circulation, increase hemoglobin, restore the body after illness, improve immunity. Bon appetit!
