Green pancake cake without dyes
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
GREEN DOUGH: Wash the spinach, pour boiling water over it, cover with a lid for 5 minutes.
STEP 2
Drain the water, place the spinach in a blender bowl, add milk and blend the spinach and milk into a homogeneous mass. Pour the milk and spinach into a separate bowl.
STEP 3
Add eggs, salt, sugar, mix, add flour.
STEP 4
Stir until you get a liquid pancake batter. Cover the bowl and leave to brew for 15-20 minutes.
STEP 5
LIGHT DOUGH: In another bowl, mix milk, eggs, salt, sugar and flour to form a dough of the same consistency. Cover the bowl and leave for 15-20 minutes.
STEP 6
Before baking, add butter to each pancake dough and stir.
STEP 7
MULTI-COLORED PANCAKES: Next, you can mix green and light dough in any proportions, resulting in pancakes of different shades.
STEP 8
In order not to make a mistake with the color, in a separate bowl you need to mix the green and light dough so that you get a dough of medium color and shade, so that it differs in color from both the green and light dough.
STEP 9
First you need to bake several pancakes from dough of each color.
STEP 10
Then you need to mix dough of different colors to make pancakes of intermediate shades. Pancakes need to be fried in a dry frying pan. This amount of dough makes 30 pancakes, the diameter of the pancakes is approximately 19 cm.
STEP 11
The pancakes turned out different in color - from light to intense green. To decorate the cake, set aside 3 pancakes of different colors.
STEP 12
CREAM: Add gelatin to milk and leave to swell for a while. Add sugar and vanilla sugar to the sour cream, mix and leave for a while until the sugar dissolves.
STEP 13
Gently heat the gelatin until it is completely dissolved, add to the sour cream and mix well.
STEP 14
CAKE: Place the first pancake on a serving plate, install a pastry ring and then place and coat the pancakes one by one with cream. Approximately 2 tablespoons of cream for each pancake.
STEP 15
Assemble the cake from dark color at the bottom to light color at the top.
STEP 16
Pour all the remaining sour cream on top.
STEP 17
DECORATION: Roll 3 pancakes of different colors, set aside for cake decoration, into a tube and cut into pieces.
STEP 18
Decorate the cake with chopped pancakes.
STEP 19
Place the cake in the refrigerator for several hours until the cream sets completely. When the cream hardens, carefully remove the ring. You can warm the walls of the ring with a hot wet towel, or you can warm it with a hairdryer.
STEP 20
Enjoy your tea!
