STEP 1
How to make gravy for buckwheat with meat? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. Any meat can be used. It could be chicken, veal, lamb or, like mine, pork. Choose boneless meat.
STEP 2
First of all, set the buckwheat to boil. Rinse it several times in cold water. Then drain all the water. Fill the buckwheat with fresh water in a ratio of 1:2. STEP 3
Buckwheat will increase in size and absorb all the water. Remove it from the heat, cover with a lid and leave to stand.
STEP 4
At this time we will prepare the gravy. Cut the meat into small pieces and fry with vegetable oil for 7-10 minutes. The meat pieces will begin to fry. You can learn how to choose the right frying pan from the article, the link is at the end of this recipe under the steps.
STEP 5
Peel the onion, rinse in cold water and finely chop.
STEP 6
Add the onion to the meat and fry everything together for another 2-3 minutes. A characteristic aroma will appear from the onion.

Sprinkle everything with flour. Mix.
STEP 8
Add tomato paste. Warm it up with the meat.
STEP 9
Then pour hot water over the meat. Add salt, spices and bay leaf to taste. Bring to a boil. Cover with a lid and cook over low heat for 30-40 minutes until the meat is tender. The amount of water can be changed to suit your taste. If you want more gravy, add more water.
STEP 10
The finished tomato sauce with pork meat and flour is very aromatic, and due to the added flour it is also pleasantly thick. Place the buckwheat on plates, spread the gravy on top and serve the buckwheat with the gravy to the table. Bon appetit!
