  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to bake garlic dumplings for borscht in the oven? Prepare your ingredients. Sift the flour. This way the donuts will turn out more magnificent and tender. Pour water, oil into a bowl, add sugar, salt, instant yeast. Read about different types of yeast at the end of the recipe. Start kneading the dough, adding flour in parts. You may need a little less or a little more flour. Read about this in the article about flour at the end of the recipe. The dough should be soft and elastic.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Turn the oven on 180 degrees. Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil. I have a mold measuring 28*18 cm. Roll the dough into balls the size of a small apple and place them in the mold at a distance of about 1 cm from each other, as dense as possible. Let the preparations stand warm for 20-30 minutes. During this time they will rise a little.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Place the form with the preparations in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20-30 minutes. The exact time depends on the features of your oven. Read about the operation of different ovens at the end of the recipe. During the baking process, grease the pampushki with hot syrup of sugar and water (1:1), then you will get a beautiful bright crust on top. To fill, mix water, vegetable oil, chopped garlic and finely chopped herbs.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Remove the finished donuts from the oven and pour over the filling while still hot. Bon appetit!

What would borscht be without donuts, and even with garlic?! I saw a recipe for “garlic dumplings for borscht in 20 minutes” and decided to make it. I had all the ingredients on hand; I only replaced fresh yeast with dry yeast. I reduced the amount of ingredients by half, since I cooked it in a multicooker in a bowl with a diameter of 22 cm. I mixed all the ingredients and kneaded the elastic dough. First, I left the dough in a warm bowl for half an hour. Then I made balls and placed them in a multicooker bowl, lining them with parchment. The dough rose well after 15 minutes. I baked the donuts for half an hour in the “baking” mode. For the dressing, I mixed oil, salt, dill and garlic. I poured the dressing over the hot donuts and let them cool. The donuts from this recipe turned out delicious. The dough is airy and soft. Dumplings with garlic are aromatic and very tasty. An ideal addition to borscht and more. Great recipe! Thanks to the author!

Very tasty donuts! Tender, soft, but they’re not baked well on the bottom and it turns out that the top is golden brown and the bottom is moist((next time I’ll take it into account and set the temperature in the oven lower, but I’ll bake it longer. It seems to me that garlic and spices can be added to the dough, but I don’t know how it tastes will be, I'll try it later, thanks for the quick and delicious recipe!!🩷🩷🩷

Is the yeast dry or raw? otherwise 20 grams of dry fast-acting yeast is somehow too much for such a volume of dough. Well, the donuts are very tasty, but the dough needs to be allowed to stand in a warm place for another hour.

Thanks for the recipe! The donuts came out airy and very tasty. I, however, replaced fresh yeast with dry yeast and let the dough rise twice (not taking into account the donuts in the pan). I also tried to make a loaf, but it was too airy)) But still very tasty. Thanks again!

The recipe is perfect, the buns turned out soft, fragrant and so airy, everything was baked perfectly, I’ve been meaning to bake these donuts for a long time, I got 11 pieces. The only thing I didn’t use was dry yeast, but 25 grams of pressed yeast; I don’t like working with dry yeast. Many thanks to the author for the wonderful recipe! ❤
