Galette with cherry plum
Wonderful baked goods with the taste and aroma of summer. I’ve been wanting to bake a sweet biscuit for three years now. And finally, I found the time, and most importantly, an interesting filling for it. With cherry plum, the galette turns out simply incredible. Slightly sour filling, sweetish crumbly shortbread dough - a real discovery of this summer.

Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

Measure out ingredients.
STEP 2

Sift the flour.
STEP 3

Add sugar and soda.
STEP 4

Grate cold butter on top. For this it is best to use a coarse grater.
STEP 5

Pour in water and knead into a soft elastic dough.
STEP 6

Roll the dough into a ball and place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
STEP 7

Wash the cherry plum, dry it, remove the seeds.
STEP 8

Roll out the chilled dough into a circle about 5 mm thick.
STEP 9

Lightly dust the entire surface of the dough with starch.
STEP 10

Spread the cherry plum evenly over the entire surface of the dough, leaving 2 cm from the edge. Sprinkle the fruit with sugar.
STEP 11

Fold the edges of the dough inward.
STEP 12

Bake the galette in an oven preheated to 170°C for about 30 minutes.
