  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make fruit marmalade? Prepare your food. You can take any juice – store-bought or home-made. The taste can be absolutely anything. Adjust the amount of sugar depending on the sweetness of the juice used.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Pour the juice into a container suitable for cooking. Pour gelatin into the juice, mix well and leave for 20 minutes to swell.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

This is what swollen gelatin looks like.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Place the pan with the juice on the stove over low heat.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Boil the juice, stirring constantly, until the gelatin is completely dissolved. I added sugar at this stage after tasting the finished product. See here according to your taste. Sugar will dissolve quickly in warm juice.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Pour the slightly cooled juice into molds. It is convenient to do this with dishes with a spout. You can use silicone molds, ice cube trays, or regular flat-bottomed dishes. The finished layer will then simply need to be cut.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

From my quantity of products I came up with this shape and a bowl with a diameter of 20 cm with a layer of 2 cm.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

To remove foam from the surface of the marmalade, blot it with a paper towel.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Place the marmalade molds in the refrigerator for at least an hour, preferably overnight.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Remove the frozen marmalade from the mold.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

If you wish, you can roll it in sugar, then the marmalade will turn out just like store-bought, but my sugar began to melt, so I washed it off. Bon appetit!

I wanted homemade marmalade! I had 20 g of gelatin, so I reduced the amount of other products by half. For the marmalade base I used strawberry compote. I didn’t change the cooking process, I did everything the same. I noticed one minor drawback - when the mass was heated, the gelatin reduced the sweetness. I think next time I’ll take orange nectar or clear apple juice, or maybe add more sugar. In principle, only my daughter did not like the marmalade, it was not sweet for her) And the rest ate it right away, the portion was small) Thanks to the large amount of gelatin, the marmalade turned out to be very elastic! Even chewable! I was more than happy with this, because gelatin is good for joints! Thanks for the recipe, I liked the fruit marmalade)

Yesterday I made marmalade according to this recipe, it turned out to be just a thick jelly, the taste was not very pronounced, although the base was very tasty and aromatic.. The sugar actually began to melt on the frozen marmalades; it was not possible to roll in sugar..

Thanks for the comment, I really want to find a recipe for marmalade, the same as in the store, the preparation process, I think, will not be so simple
