For some reason, since childhood, I thought that squashes are not eaten, but that they grow for decoration. When I saw the recipe, I decided to try it. They turned out very soft, so much so that, as they say, they “melted in the mouth.” The taste is somewhat reminiscent of fried zucchini... but still has its own pleasant aftertaste.
