  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to fry red fish in a frying pan? For this recipe, it is better to take fresh fish, not frozen, it will turn out much tastier. First of all, prepare the marinade for the fish. How to make a marinade? To do this, in a small plate or bowl, mix olive oil and pepper to taste. If you don’t have olive oil, then take regular refined vegetable oil.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Peel the garlic clove and crush it with the flat side of the knife. There is no need to grind the garlic any further, as it is only needed to flavor the oil. Add lemon juice to the marinade. It is better to squeeze the lemon into the marinade through a strainer. This is guaranteed to rid it of lemon seeds and unnecessary pulp.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Marinate the fish. How to marinate fish? Wash the fish and dry with paper towels. Cut it into portions, then brush with the resulting marinade on all sides (this is convenient to do with a pastry brush). Cover the plate with fish with cling film and place in the refrigerator to marinate for an hour.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

After an hour, heat the dry frying pan over high heat. Then reduce the heat to medium and add the fish. Fry the pieces for four minutes on one side.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Turn the fish pieces over to the other side and fry them for another four minutes. Do not cover the pan with a lid. In general, frying time depends on many factors - the size and thickness of the pieces, the type of fish, the type of frying pan and stove. You should focus on external signs of fish readiness: the color of the flesh and the appearance of a golden brown crust. Salt the fried fish before serving. Serve hot.

I had some pink salmon and found a recipe that interested me. I decided to try it and cooked red fish fried in a frying pan. For the marinade I used vegetable oil, garlic, salt, a mixture of peppers and lemon juice. I chopped a clove of garlic coarsely, mixed it with oil, salt and a mixture of peppers. Finally, add lemon juice and stir. Place the fish pieces in the marinade, cover with film and put in the refrigerator for 1 hour. During this time, the fish was saturated with the marinade and when frying there was an amazing aroma! On the author’s advice, I fried pink salmon in a frying pan greased with vegetable oil for literally a few minutes on both sides. The red fish fried in a frying pan turned out to be tender, juicy and very tasty. Many thanks to the author for the wonderful recipe and I recommend it for cooking 👍
