STEP 1

Dissolve yeast, salt, sugar, and vegetable oil in water at room temperature.
STEP 3
Add flour in small portions, knead the dough so that it does not stick to your hands. Leave it for 1 hour in a warm place.
STEP 4
While the dough is rising, let's make the filling: boil the rice until tender, rinse it, add hard-boiled eggs, chopped green onions, salt, add ground black pepper, and mix.
STEP 5
Roll out the dough, cut out circles from it, I do this using a bowl.
STEP 6
Place the filling on each circle and seal the edges.
STEP 7
Form a pie. Fry on both sides in vegetable oil; the heat should not be too strong so that the pies have time to cook and not burn.

I have always loved these fried yeast pies with rice, egg and green onions. The dough needs to be rolled out very thinly for those who do not like a lot of dough, and in order for them to fry better, such a pie should be about the size of your palm. And for those who like small pies, the dough should be thicker. And the fire, you’re right, needs medium heat so that the pies don’t burn.
